<p>Johnson understands the team&#8217;s point of view, but also needs the organization to see his side as well.</p>

<p>The running back has outperformed his current contract multiple times over and simply wants to be rewarded for his work.</p>

<p>As a running back, he knows that most guys have short careers and see a sharp decline at age 30.</p>

<p>That gives him a chance at maybe just one big contract before his days as a star come to an end, which really isn&#8217;t that much given his elite production.</p>
